Ribbon Organizer!
I have been looking for ways to organize all of my ribbon! I've seen plenty of examples but none seem to work right. Small plastic containers didn't let the ribbon rotate off of the roll easily, "pants" hangers with multiple rods only held a few especially if you had larger ribbon, and the boxes that already had the dowels in them weren't very big and usually ran about $9 with only one small dowel about 12' long to hold ribbon. I something PORTABLE since I don't have a craft room or the ability to hang things up on walls right now. This was the best idea I had.
Soooooo....I made my own! Bought a box I actually liked and could choose the size I wanted (using a 40% coupon at Michaels--the box ended up only being about $8) and I had some dowels left over from making hairbows. Drilled holes on each side of the box and VIOLA! Put ribbon on and slide the dowel through. Good news? I have room to add an additional dowel if I want OR there is plenty of room on the bottom that I chose to use for random pieces of ribbon not on a roll.
I thought this was a great idea. Got a better one? Please share!
